The front lobby entrance is the only entrance that should be used during an open house. If the telephone entry system is not working, Ocean Terrace regulations require that an individual be posted in the lobby to give access to Open House attendees and guide them to the unit. Alternatively, realtors can provide their cell phone number to attendees so they can be called in the unit to come down to the front entrance to admit attendees and guide them to the unit. The realtor must remove all Open House signs at the end of the day. Perimeter doors and gates must never be propped open. Realtors should verify that perimeter doors and gates are locked before they leave the premises.
